Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Pharmaceutical Care Specialist to join our team at Loblaw Pharmacy. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of prescription dispensing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and dispense medications accurately and timely to patients;
  • Ensure adequate inventory levels to meet patients' needs;
  • Counsel with appropriate documentation to all patients;
  • Review and control costs at all levels within Loblaw Pharmacy;
  • Provide ongoing training for new and existing pharmacy colleagues.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacist's license. Additionally, you should possess excellent leadership and performance management skills, as well as proven ability to build the business using community-based marketing strategies. Strong personal computing skills, including knowledge of Healthwatch and/or KROLL Pharmacy Computer system, are also a definite asset.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
