Job Title: Office Manager

MILLTEX SPORTSWEAR is seeking an experienced Office Manager to join our team. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the management team, including preparing reports, managing records, and coordinating office services.
  • Office Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office, including managing supplies, equipment, and facilities.
  • Payroll Administration: Assist with payroll administration, including processing payroll, managing benefits, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Supervision: Supervise a team of 3-4 staff members, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
  • Cultural Competency: Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Support newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities.

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other administrative software.

Working Conditions:

  • 37.5 hours per week.
  • Permanent position.
  • English language required.
