We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Client Service Assistant to join our team at BMO. As a key member of our Wealth Sales & Service team, you will play a critical role in supporting our Investment Advisors and staff with day-to-day administration and providing exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate marketing activities, including website and social media initiatives, to enhance client engagement and recognition.
- Assist with preparing for client meetings, including scheduling appointments and ensuring timely follow-up.
- Handle clients' general requests and inquiries, including basic money movement, technology issues, and account opening and updates.
- Generate reports and documents as requested and process items for client accounts and files.
- Maintain and organize client database and files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Ensure transactions and tasks are assigned and completed efficiently.
- Provide support on technology issues, new technology use, and general inquiries and escalations related to policies and procedures.
- Gather and distribute information on updates to training, guidelines, technology, and other business-related information.
- Develop rapport and credibility with clients to promote a positive experience.
- Follow risk and compliance processes to safeguard clients' assets and maintain confidentiality.
- Typically 1-2 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of wealth management company operations and technology applications is an asset.
- Familiarity with financial planning and investment industry software.
- Basic specialized knowledge and good verbal and written communication skills.
