Job Title: Client Services Representative

AGAT Laboratories is a leading provider of geotechnical services, with a strong presence in Canada. We are seeking a highly skilled Client Services Representative to join our Geotechnical Division in Calgary.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded. This role will involve developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing technical information, and administering a positive client experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide prompt and complete responses to client requests
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding geotechnical projects
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients through face-to-face meetings, email, correspondence, and phone calls
  • Manage customer expectations with respect to all aspects of work orders
  • Schedule and coordinate geotechnical laboratory testing as per project timelines
  • Assist the Sales team in presenting testing requirements and other client requests
  • Handle administrative tasks related to the geotechnical department, including file management and record-keeping
  • Participate in project kick-off meetings to discuss courier logistics, sampling requirements, reporting expectations, and invoicing
  • Ensure prompt and accurate delivery of analytical results and invoices
  • Make recommendations to the management team based on client requests and feedback
  • Participate in team training and mentoring of Client Services Administrators
Requirements:
  • Technical Engineering Diploma or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Previous experience in customer service or administrative roles, preferably in the engineering or geotechnical industry
  • Knowledge of geotechnical engineering terminology or willingness to learn
  • Minimum 1 year laboratory and previous Customer Service experience, with a team-oriented focus
  • Proficient computer skills, including Outlook, Microsoft Office, Excel, Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), and Reporting Systems
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with confident telephone communications
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Effective problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated attention to detail
