Role Overview
As a Massage Therapy Instructor at triOS College, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of massage therapists. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality instruction in assigned Massage Therapy courses, utilizing a range of teaching strategies and delivery methods to cater to diverse student learning styles. In addition, you will be expected to maintain a safe and civil learning environment, taking daily attendance, and grading class tests, assignments, and exams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with course competencies.
- Provide expert guidance to students on treatment and safety protocols.
- Support the College's mission and values while fostering a positive, inclusive, and student-centered team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Massage Therapist in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO).
- Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in massage therapy.
- Intermediate MS Office skills.
- Previous teaching experience is an asset.
