Job Title: Security Operations Manager

At Guardteck Security, we are seeking a skilled Security Operations Manager to oversee site operations and ensure peak efficiency. As a Team Lead, you will resolve escalations promptly and uphold regulations and procedures. Your role is pivotal in fostering a strong workplace culture and effective communication among team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enforce security standards, rules, and policies.
  • Attend training, orientation, and staff meetings as required.
  • Document incidents accurately and report to management with solutions.
  • Guide guards in handling challenging situations efficiently and professionally.
  • Provide training and orientation to new employees.
  • Manage scheduling and attendance effectively.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the site layout.
  • Ensure compliance with Fire and Life Safety requirements.
  • Oversee First Aid and safety equipment checks, maintaining documentation.
  • Foster a collaborative culture through constructive feedback and coaching.
  • Engage regularly with employees to understand their needs and challenges.
  • Promote exceptional customer service and high-quality performance.
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
  • Assist with implementing new technologies to enhance operations.
  • Report accidents or injuries promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Support company initiatives and special events.
  • Uphold Kandor Management's core values.

Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of security experience or relevant combination of education and experience.
  • Valid Security License and First Aid/CPR Certification.
  • Completion of basic security training (e.g., Conflict Management, Use of Force) is an asset.
  • Leadership training is a plus.
  • Strong customer service skills and a commitment to integrity.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Knowledge of security system databases and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle conflict and make decisions efficiently.
  • Empathy and strong interpersonal skills.
