About the Role:

Carpenters at Shergill Developments Inc. are skilled professionals responsible for constructing, repairing, and renovating various structures. This includes buildings, wooden structures, and other establishments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare layouts in accordance with building codes, utilizing measuring tools.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood and other substances.
  • Construct foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings.

Work Environment:

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Large workload may be a challenge.

Requirements:

  • Reliability is crucial for this role.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
