The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000, depending on experience.

Job Description

This Medical Science Liaison role will serve as the field scientific/medical expert in delivering non-promotional scientific exchange and translating scientific knowledge into value for patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing regional field-based medical/scientific tactics that support Astellas' corporate strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop trusted relationships with medical stakeholders to deliver non-promotional scientific/medical value.
  • Represent Astellas Medical Affairs at relevant provincial HTA and payer meetings.
  • Maintain advanced scientific expertise and understanding of relevant TA disease, Astellas products, and competitor products.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • An advanced scientific degree (Ph.D., PharmD, MD, MSc) in a healthcare or scientific discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in Medical Affairs.
  • Strong strategic thinking ability, operating with a sense of urgency to respond to business needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaborations.
