Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and certified technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in non-destructive testing (NDT) methods and procedures, with a focus on CGSB Level II certification in RT.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and calibrate NDT equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Conduct tests to detect discontinuities and ensure quality, using various NDT methods of inspection.
- Establish and maintain strict adherence to safety regulations and testing criteria.
- Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications and standards, and evaluate results.
- Organize and report test results, and perform specialized inspections as needed.
- May instruct and supervise others, and perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- CGSB Level II certification in RT is an asset, with additional certifications in MT, PT, or UT also desirable.
- Technical background in NDT methods and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections.
- Knowledge of NDT equipment and a strong mechanical aptitude.
