Job Title: Food and Beverage Supervisor
Job Summary:
The Vancouver Aquarium is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team. As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our food and beverage outlets, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of quality in our food and beverage offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operation of our food and beverage outlets, ensuring that all products are delivered to visitors and guests of exceptional quality.
- Provide ongoing coaching and training to the team, ensuring that they have the necessary resources for operational success.
- Delegate and assign tasks as necessary, ensuring that all outlets have the required resources for operational success.
- Assist with staff training and development, ensuring that all team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide exceptional customer service.
- Ensure that all visitor and guest feedback is promptly addressed and rectified, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Serving It Right certification is required.
- Food Safe certified is preferred.
- Clear background check is required.
- Food services experience in a high volume fast-paced environment is an asset.
- Previous customer service experience is preferred.
- Previous supervisory experience is an asset.
Working Conditions:
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to stand for extended periods of time and safely lift, move, and carry a variety of objects up to 30 lbs.
Hourly Wage: $20 per hour
