  • Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Labourer to join our team at JUNNIR MECHANIC REPAIR SHOP. The successful candidate will assist tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers in maintaining and repairing vehicles.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Move tools, equipment, and other materials to and from work areas.
    • Hold stakes during surveying activities to ensure safe and accurate measurements.
    • Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public to prevent accidents.
    • Provide support to tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed.
    • Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
    • The Labourer role is physically demanding and requires manual dexterity, bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.
    • A large workload and ability to adapt to changing priorities are essential.
    • Weight Handling: The Labourer may be required to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) on a regular basis.
  • Personal Suitability:
    • Dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, and reliability are essential for success in this role.
    • A team player with a strong work ethic, the Labourer will contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
    • Work Term and Language: This is a permanent position, and proficiency in English is required.
    • Hours of Work: The Labourer will work 40 hours per week in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
