About the Role

We're seeking a seasoned VP of Engineering to lead our development team at Affinity, a pioneering platform that's revolutionizing relationship intelligence for professionals worldwide.

As a key member of our leadership team, you'll be responsible for shaping our technical strategy, driving innovation, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software that meets the needs of our growing user base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a technical roadmap that aligns with Affinity's business objectives
  • Lead a team of engineers in the development of our CRM product and platform
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product innovation and user experience
  • Manage technical debt and ensure the quality of our codebase
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators to measure team success
Requirements

We're looking for a seasoned engineering leader with a strong track record of success in building and managing high-performing teams. You should have:

  • 13+ years of experience building scalable web applications with large volumes of data and rich visualizations
  • 8+ years in an engineering leadership role, with experience managing multiple teams and developing engineering leaders
  • Experience working with Ruby, React, and PostgreSQL, as well as CRM-type applications
  • A passion for designing and optimizing development processes, and a commitment to delivering high-quality software
