About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and support to our business units.

  1. Assist with monthly financial accounting, including journal entries, month-end analysis, and variance analysis to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results.
  2. Support the consolidation and review of forecasts, quarterly disclosures, and monthly reporting packages.
  3. Perform full-cycle accounting from order to cash and procure to pay.
  4. Track and report key business indicators on a monthly basis.
  5. Assist with the preparation of interim and year-end working papers for accounting and tax audits.
  6. Prepare account reconciliations and file US sales tax on a monthly basis.
  7. Prepare accounting memos and liaise with internal audit for compliance.
  8. Provide quarterly reporting on variances to forecast vs. actuals.
  9. Assist with consolidating quarterly rolling forecast and variance analysis on forecast results.
  10. Pull and prepare ad-hoc financial analysis as required by management.
  11. Perform ad-hoc financial operations tasks as needed.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Financial Analyst with a strong background in finance and accounting. The ideal candidate will have:

  1. A Business/Finance degree and near completion of an accounting designation (CPA).
  2. Minimum of 3 years experience working in a Finance/Accounting role.
  3. Advanced skills and experience in MS Office Excel.
  4. Excellent administrative and organizational skills with ability to adjust and respond professionally to changing priorities.
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to interact with all levels of management.
  6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  7. Experience with Great Plains accounting software an asset.
  8. Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
  9. Excellent time management.
Salary Range

The salary range for this role is $75,000 - $80,000/year.
