Job Title: Editor

We are seeking an experienced Editor to join our team at Dealmoon Canada. As an Editor, you will be responsible for evaluating the suitability of material for publication, making decisions on the significance of copy, and planning the layout or format of copy according to space or time allocations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and select suitable content for publication
  • Make decisions on the significance and relevance of copy
  • Plan and coordinate the layout or format of copy
  • Publish text for distribution
  • Ensure accuracy and quality of content
  • Collaborate with authors and staff writers to revise copy
  • Plan and coordinate activities of staff to meet production deadlines
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in editing or related field
  • Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
Work Environment:

This is a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The primary language of work is English.

Hours:

The work hours are 30-40 hours per week.
