Job Title: Editor

We are seeking a skilled Editor to join our team at Dealmoon Canada. As an Editor, you will be responsible for evaluating the suitability of material for publication, making decisions on the significance of copy, and planning the layout or format of copy according to space or time allocations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and select suitable content for publication
  • Make informed decisions on the significance and relevance of copy
  • Plan and coordinate the layout and format of content
  • Publish and distribute text to the desired audience
  • Ensure accuracy and quality in spelling, grammar, and syntax
  • Shorten or lengthen content as needed
  • Plan and coordinate coverage of upcoming events
  • Collaborate with authors and staff writers to revise content
  • Plan and coordinate activities of staff to meet production deadlines
