Job Title: Editor

We are seeking an experienced Editor to join our team at Dealmoon Canada. As an Editor, you will be responsible for evaluating the suitability of material for publication, making decisions on the significance of copy, and planning the layout or format of copy according to space or time allocations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and select suitable content for publication
  • Make decisions on the significance and relevance of copy
  • Plan and coordinate the layout or format of copy
  • Publish text for distribution
  • Detect and correct errors in spelling, grammar, and syntax
  • Shorten or lengthen copy as needed
  • Plan coverage of upcoming events and assign work accordingly
  • Confer with authors and staff regarding revisions to copy
  • Plan and coordinate activities of staff to meet production deadlines
