The Yard Maintenance Person is a key member of our team, responsible for ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of our yard equipment and assets. This is a full-time position based in Fort Saskatchewan, AB, and reports to the Yard Operations Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and organized yard, ensuring quick deployment and security.
- Package and receive equipment and materials, guaranteeing proper handling and storage.
- Collaborate with logistics companies, project teams, and other stakeholders to maintain fleet assets and update the yard map.
Requirements:
- Construction knowledge or experience in the modular industry is an asset.
- Must be safety-oriented, a good team player, and possess excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities, work well in a changing environment, and demonstrate a sense of urgency.
- Possess discipline towards meeting deadlines and strong personal time management.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze problems and create solutions.
- Solid interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Able to carry out moderate to heavy lifting duties and operate equipment such as skid steer, loader, and forklift.
- Knowledge of MS Office suite.
