Job Title: Commercial Transport Vehicle Mechanic

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Transport Vehicle Mechanic to join our team at West Coast Reduction Ltd. in Vancouver, BC. As a key member of our fleet maintenance team, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance servicing on commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and diagnose faults on commercial transport trucks
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, chassis, frame, cab, body, and other systems
  • Use computerized diagnostic tools to identify and repair faults
  • Review and discuss work orders with supervisors
  • Perform scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes and lubrications

Requirements:

  • Valid British Columbia Journeyperson Commercial Transport Vehicle Certificate or interprovincial Red Seal Certification equivalent
  • 3 years of experience in commercial truck repairs or similar environment
  • Ability to frequently move, carry, lift, push, and pull equipment up to 50 lbs without assistance
