We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Insurance Agent to join our team at Aaxel Insurance Brokers Ltd. As an Insurance Agent, you will be responsible for assessing potential client markets, calculating premiums, and establishing client insurance coverage.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess potential institutional, business, or individual client markets to identify opportunities for insurance coverage.
- Calculate premiums and establish method of payment for clients.
- Ensure appropriate forms, medical examinations, and other policy requirements are completed.
- Monitor insurance claims and respond to clients' enquiries.
- Provide customer service and information concerning group and individual insurance packages, risk coverage, benefits paid, and policy features.
- Sell automobile, fire, health, life, property, marine, aircraft, and other types of insurance.
- Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO) licence.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in property/casualty insurance, commercial insurance, individual insurance, group insurance, automobile insurance, fire insurance, house insurance, personal insurance, and tenant insurance.
- Permanent employment with 35 hours per week.
- English language proficiency.
