Job Title: Insurance Agent

Aaxel Insurance Brokers Ltd. is seeking a skilled Insurance Agent to join our team. As an Insurance Agent, you will be responsible for assessing potential client markets, calculating premiums, and establishing client insurance coverage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess potential institutional, business, or individual client markets to identify opportunities for insurance coverage.
  • Calculate premiums and establish client insurance coverage to meet their needs.
  • Establish method of payment and ensure that clients understand their policy requirements.
  • Identify potential markets and develop strategies to expand our client base.
  • Monitor insurance claims and respond to clients' enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide customer service and support to clients to ensure their satisfaction with our services.
  • Provide information concerning group and individual insurance packages, the range of risk coverage, benefits paid, and other policy features.
  • Sell automobile, fire, health, life, property, marine, aircraft, and other types of insurance to clients.
Requirements:
  • Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO) licence.
  • Experience in property/casualty insurance, commercial insurance, individual insurance, group insurance, automobile insurance, fire insurance, house insurance, personal insurance, and tenant insurance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
