At Bob's Liquor Beer & Wine Store, we are seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the store, including managing sales floor activities, supervising staff, and maintaining a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure the sales floor is adequately staffed
  • Hire, train, and develop staff to meet business needs
  • Order merchandise and manage inventory levels
  • Establish work schedules and ensure adequate coverage
  • Sell merchandise and promote products to customers
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
  • Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages
  • Organize and maintain inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of workers, including training and development
  • Manage cash handling and oversee payroll administration
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-7 months of retail experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods
