About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Culinary Team Member to join our team at Himalaya Indian Cuisine LTD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution

Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes of our discerning customers.

Culinary Operations

Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Food Safety and Quality Control

Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain the highest standards of food quality.

Staff Training and Development

Train and mentor junior staff members in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and excellence in our culinary offerings.

Inventory Management

Order and manage inventory of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient operations and minimize waste.

Cleanliness and Maintenance

Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and work areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our staff and customers.

Team Leadership

Recruit, train, and lead a team of culinary staff to achieve our culinary goals and objectives.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education and Experience

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a culinary role.

Language

Fluency in English is required.

Work Hours

30 to 40 hours per week.
