About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Culinary Team Member to join our team at Ebisu Sushi Japanese Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Staff Training and Supervision: Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize waste.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Ensure the kitchen and work areas are clean and well-maintained to meet health and safety standards.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, hire, and manage kitchen staff to ensure the team is well-organized and productive.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
