Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for dental examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
  • Order and maintain dental and office supplies, ensuring our practice is well-equipped to provide top-notch care.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, confirming patient information, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist dentists with procedures, such as preparing instruments, mixing materials, and sterilizing equipment.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, including educating patients on oral hygiene, polishing teeth, and applying fluoride and sealants.
  • Collaborate with our dental laboratory to prepare dental instruments and materials, ensuring seamless communication and efficient workflow.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff.
Requirements
  • Registration with provincial or territorial authorities.
  • Certification by the National Dental Assisting Examining Board.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a dental setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining accurate records and ensuring patient safety.
