This is an exciting opportunity to work with the Camrose Addiction & Mental Health Clinic as a Mental Health Therapist. As a member of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you will provide evidence-informed and best practices in crisis intervention, assessment, consultation, referral, case management, and treatment.
Description:As a Mental Health Therapist, you will work with adults experiencing significant mental health difficulties, using a variety of treatment modalities, including individual, family, and group therapy. You will work independently and as part of a team to provide crisis intervention, assessment, consultation, referral, case management, and treatment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide evidence-informed and best practices in crisis intervention, assessment, consultation, referral, case management, and treatment.
- Work with adults experiencing significant mental health difficulties, using a variety of treatment modalities.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
- Develop and maintain a positive workplace culture that promotes care and professional growth.
A Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Nursing, with training and experience in mental health assessment and psychotherapy. Active or eligible for registration with the applicable Alberta regulatory college.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in community mental health and working in a rural community. Knowledge of brief therapy and other clinical modalities.
