Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Boxing Trainer to join our team at Bisla Martial Arts. As a Boxing Trainer, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing training and practice sessions for our athletes. You will also be expected to motivate and prepare athletes for competitive events, analyze and evaluate their performance, and observe and evaluate prospective athletes' skills and performance.
Key Responsibilities- Training and Development: Plan, develop, and implement training and practice sessions for athletes, ensuring a safe and effective learning environment.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze and evaluate athletes' performance, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies for enhancement.
- Recruitment and Support: Recruit and support newcomers and refugees, providing them with the necessary tools and resources to succeed in their roles.
- Cultural Competency: Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations, providing cultural competency training and awareness to all employees.
- Mentorship and Coaching: Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for indigenous workers, facilitating access to elders who can offer support and guidance.
- Work Environment: Create a welcoming work environment for all employees, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
