Job Title: Bookkeeper

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at Fast & Tasty Donair Ltd. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, fixed assets, and depreciation
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries and prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports
  • Prepare tax returns and trial balance of books
  • Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy in financial reporting
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Strong accounting software skills, including MS Access, MS Excel, MS Word, and Quick Books
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliability, accuracy, and attention to detail
