About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at Weather On Demand. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including general ledgers, financial statements, and journal entries.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including trial balances, to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies or errors.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a related field, such as accounting or finance.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in accounting software.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 30-hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
