About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Animator to join our team at Zoic Studios. As a key member of our visual effects department, you will be responsible for creating inspiring and engaging performances for CG characters and objects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement creative animation solutions for complex shots
  • Collaborate with directors and supervisors to ensure high-quality animation
  • Meet production deadlines and deliver high-quality work
  • Assist in mentoring junior animators and advising production and technology teams
  • Perform other tasks related to CG animation, including shot layouts, animating cameras, and props
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience as a CG Character Animator in the entertainment industry
  • Expertise in traditional animation principles, acting, performance, layout, and composition for feature film production
  • Strong knowledge of Maya animation tools and workflow
  • Experience working in a visual effects pipeline
  • Experience working with motion capture data and crowds
  • Firm grasp of technical animation issues, including character effects and rigging
