At Sunrise Senior Living, we're passionate about providing quality care and creating a sense of community for our residents. As a Life Enrichment Manager, you'll play a vital role in designing and implementing personalized Life Skills programs that bring joy and purpose to our residents' lives.
Responsibilities:- Evaluate residents' interests and involvement in Life Skills programs
- Develop tailored Life Skills programs that cater to each resident's unique needs and abilities
- Engage residents in Life Skills activities throughout the day and evening
- Maintain an inventory of Life Skills programming supplies
- Assist residents with daily care of animals and/or plants as part of the Life Skills program
- One year of experience working with memory-impaired seniors
- High School diploma or GED accepted; certification(s) may be required per state regulations
- Ability to motivate and encourage residents; knowledge of adapting Life Skills to cognitive and functional abilities
- Ability to work semi-independently without direct supervision
- Basic proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office
