Holt Renfrew is seeking a talented Strategic Merchandise Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our planning and analysis team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and profitability through data-driven insights and strategic decision-making.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing sales trends, inventory levels, and market data to inform merchandise planning and allocation decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including buying, store operations, and supply chain, to ensure seamless execution of inventory actions and maximize sell-through across all channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts and auto-replenishment models to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts
  • Analyze sales performance and provide actionable insights to inform buying and planning decisions
  • Collaborate with buying and store teams to develop and implement inventory strategies that drive full-price sell-through and profitability
  • Prepare and present analytical reports and recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in retail planning and analysis

Requirements

  • Proven analytical experience in a retail or merchant environment, with a strong understanding of merchandise planning and analysis principles
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
  • Strong partnership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
