OB IT SOLUTIONS INC. is seeking a skilled Telecommunication Cable Installer to join our team. As a Telecommunication Cable Installer, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining aerial and underground telephone equipment, inspecting and testing cable signals, and repairing cable signals.
Key Responsibilities- Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain aerial and underground telephone equipment, including cable modems and software to enable Internet access.
- Cable Signal Inspection and Repair: Inspect and test cable signals and associated equipment, and repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers, and amplifiers.
- Wire Splicing and Connection: Splice, join, and connect wires to ensure reliable communication services.
- Equipment Repair and Replacement: Repair or replace defective telephone equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
- Language: English.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week.
