Inventory Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Management Specialist to join our team at North Vancouver Bottle Depot. As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient management of our inventory.
Key Responsibilities- Inventory Control: Verify stock availability from current inventories, reconcile physical inventories with computer counts, and record the quantity, type, and value of stock on hand using computerized or manual inventory systems.
- Purchasing and Receiving: Prepare and maintain purchasing files, reports, and records, and resolve delivery and other problems with suppliers.
- Inventory Reporting: Compile inventory reports, prepare inventory costs, retail pricing, and profit reports, and conduct quality control.
- Stockroom Management: Set up and maintain inventory control systems, monitor inventory levels of issued materials and stocks, and dispose of and account for outdated stock.
- Communication: Verify receipts and packing slips, and communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve any issues.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
