Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Officer to join our team at Five Continents International Ltd. as a key member of our procurement department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Purchase General and Specialized Equipment, Materials, or Business Services: Source and procure high-quality equipment, materials, and business services to meet the needs of our organization.
  • Assess Requirements and Develop Specifications: Work closely with various departments to identify and assess requirements for equipment, materials, and supplies, and develop detailed specifications to ensure accurate procurement.
  • Negotiate Offers and Contracts: Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible prices and terms for our organization, and manage the contract process from initiation to completion.
  • Supervise and Train Staff: Oversee and train a team of procurement staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Review Quotations and Monitor Progress: Review and analyze quotations from suppliers, and monitor the progress of delivery schedules to ensure timely receipt of goods and services.
  • Resolve Problems and Improve Processes: Identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the procurement process, and implement improvements to our procurement processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Education: A degree in a relevant field such as procurement, supply chain management, or business administration.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a procurement role, with a strong understanding of procurement principles and practices.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and colleagues.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work overtime as required.
