Patient Care Coordinator

At Alberta Inc., we are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Patient Care Assistant to join our team. As a Patient Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:- Take patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Deliver messages, reports, and specimens between departments.
- Make beds and maintain patients' rooms to ensure a clean and comfortable environment.
- Supervise patients' exercise routines and provide support as needed.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure that all necessary equipment is available.
- Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher, as required.
- Answer call signals to determine patients' needs and respond accordingly.
- Administer first aid in emergency situations, as trained.
As a Patient Care Assistant, you will work in a fast-paced environment, often with multiple patients to care for. You will be required to perform repetitive tasks, such as taking vital signs and assisting with daily living activities. However, you will also have the opportunity to work independently and make a positive impact on the lives of our patients.
Requirements:- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is an asset, but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform repetitive tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull patients as required.
