Patient Care Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Patient Care Assistant to join our team at Alberta Inc. As a Patient Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities- Take patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Weigh, lift, turn, and position patients with care and attention to detail
- Deliver messages, reports, requisitions, and specimens between departments with efficiency and accuracy
- Maintain patients' rooms and ensure a clean and safe environment
- Supervise patients' exercise routines and provide guidance and support as needed
- Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure that all necessary equipment is available
- Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher with care and attention to safety
- Answer call signals and determine patients' needs with a prompt and professional response
- Administer first aid in emergency situations and provide basic life support as needed
- Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail and accuracy
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Will train and develop skills and knowledge in patient care and support
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff
- Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, lifting, and bending
