Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Balaji Foods Ltd. as a permanent employee. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our food counters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, taking orders and handling payments in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, such as soups, salads, and sandwiches, to meet customer demands.
  • Inventory Management: Keep records of food quantities used, restock refrigerators and salad bars, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Adaptability: Be flexible and willing to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, to meet business needs.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a willingness to learn and develop skills is essential.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a food service environment is an asset, but on-the-job training will be provided.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required, as this is the primary language used in our business.
  • Work Hours: 30-40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts.
