About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Administration Specialist to join our team at the City of Toronto. As a key member of our Purchasing and Materials Management Division, you will be responsible for coordinating and administering contracts for goods and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement contract strategies in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Coordinate and administer contract transition activities, including onboarding and offboarding suppliers
  • Track and maintain contract documents, including correspondence, reports, and procurement documents
  • Administer contract execution and renewal processes, including preparing new contract packages and renewals
  • Provide support with purchasing and financial modules of ERP systems and/or construction project management systems
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Extensive experience with contract administration, including processing progress reports and payments related to RFPs, RFQs, and tenders
  • Considerable experience with purchasing and financial modules of ERP systems and/or construction project management systems
  • Advanced knowledge of public procurement guidelines and requirements
  • Working knowledge of contract administration and contract terms
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiating skills
Assets
  • Certified Public Purchasing or Certified Professional Public Officer designation
  • Experience with SharePoint and Power BI
