Job Summary


The City of St. Catharines is seeking a highly skilled and experienced City Infrastructure Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Engineering, Facilities and Environmental Services department, you will be responsible for managing the planning, design, and construction of municipal infrastructure projects.


Key Responsibilities



  • Plan, design, and manage the construction of municipal infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and water and sewer systems
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for the maintenance, rehabilitation, and construction of municipal infrastructure
  • Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure projects are aligned with the City's strategic priorities
  • Prepare and review technical reports, plans, and specifications for infrastructure projects
  • Manage the procurement process for infrastructure projects, including tendering and contract administration

Requirements



  • University degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in the province of Ontario
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in municipal engineering, with a focus on infrastructure planning and development
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience leading teams and managing projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Knowledge of municipal infrastructure planning and development principles and practices
  • Experience with project management software and tools

Salary Range


$108,945 - $127,436 per annum

Hours of Work


Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
