Key Responsibilities- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of school facilities, including classrooms, hallways, and common areas.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash and recycling.
- Restock supplies and materials as needed.
- Assist with special events and projects as required.
- Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with students, staff, and parents.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Secondary school diploma or equivalent.
- Related experience in a custodial or maintenance role.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated flexibility and initiative.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and willingness to support and enhance the school community.
- Valid driver's license and use of own vehicle.
- Ability to perform school checks as required.
- Experience in a computerized environment.
- Preferred requirements: Safety and/or WHMIS training, familiarity and understanding of the school community.
