Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Hair Salon Operations Manager to join our team at Hair Hut Barber Shop.

Job Summary

This is a full-time position responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hair salon, ensuring exceptional customer service, and managing staff. The successful candidate will have a strong background in management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities
  • Schedule Management: Coordinate and schedule work for all staff members, ensuring adequate coverage during peak periods.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise office and volunteer staff, providing guidance and support as needed to ensure seamless operation.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that every client receives exceptional service, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the requisitioning and ordering of materials, equipment, and supplies necessary for salon operations.
  • Quality Control: Monitor quality and production levels, identifying areas for improvement and implementing measures to enhance overall performance.
  • Training and Development: Provide training to staff on job duties, safety procedures, and company policies to ensure compliance and productivity.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate;
  • 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Able to work well under pressure and maintain composure in fast-paced environments;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills;
  • Familiarity with inventory management software;
  • Ability to lift up to [insert weight] pounds and stand for extended periods.
Working Conditions

The selected candidate will be required to:

  • Work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking positions;
  • Operate in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities;
  • Occasionally lift heavy objects and maneuver in tight spaces.
Salary Information

We offer an estimated annual salary of $40,000 - $60,000 based on location and experience. This figure may vary depending on factors such as local cost of living and industry standards.
