Business Analyst Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team at Avance Consulting Services. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in helping our clients achieve their business objectives by analyzing and documenting their information needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide BA support to BI projects to ensure timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with IT colleagues to understand and document available data sources and their interrelations.
  • Develop strong reconciliation and control processes with other team members.
  • Work with quality assurance to ensure business requirements are met.
  • Partner with business and user group representatives to understand business decisions and reporting needs.
  • Analyze and document available data sources and data flows to standards and in a consistent manner.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in designing solutions that meet established business needs.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a BA role throughout the full life-cycle of a DW/BI project.
  • Knowledge of the commercial Insurance and reinsurance industry.
  • Demonstrable understanding of factors leading to success in DW/BI projects, including user engagement, prototyping, MDM, data quality, and educational approach.
  • Experience working collaboratively in an agile manner.
  • Technical skills in SQL, data analysis, reporting, and modelling tools, as well as SQL Server and the associated Microsoft BI stack.
