Job Title: High School Science Educator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced High School Science Educator to join our team at Aitchison School of Canada Inc.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach science subjects to high school students, developing and implementing engaging lesson plans and curricula.
  • Supervise teaching assistants and provide guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality education.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations at conferences, workshops, and symposia, showcasing expertise in science education.
  • Develop and implement effective assessment strategies to evaluate student progress and understanding.
  • Provide individualized support and coaching to students, helping them to achieve academic success.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs that promote student learning and achievement.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a science-related field, preferably with a focus on education.
  • 1-2 years of experience teaching science subjects at the high school level.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and needs.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
