The primary role of this position is to provide administrative support to the company, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. This involves coordinating and communicating office activities, creating jobs and purchase orders in Traverse, and performing various accounting functions such as invoicing and timecards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform basic administrative duties, including answering phones, directing calls, receiving and directing mail, greeting guests, and ordering supplies.
  • Job creation in Traverse and ensuring appropriate credit limit.
  • Invoicing jobs to customers, including mailing, emailing, or uploading based on customer requirements.
  • Accountable for full job cost and revenue review, and adherence to customer requirements.

This role also requires key contact responsibilities for new customers, assisting finance with gathering required information for new customer setup in the system. Additionally, it involves weekly review of work-in-progress (WIP) for manager reports and entering time into NorthPoint's ERP for job costing and payroll purposes.

The ideal candidate will have a college diploma or post-secondary education, with 3-5 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a full-cycle accounting department. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as experience with ERP systems, is required.
