Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Human Resources and Payroll Administrative Specialist located in Greater Sudbury, ON. The role involves managing HR policies, employee benefits, and personnel management. Daily tasks include processing full cycle payroll, government remittances, maintaining employee records, handling HR-related inquiries, and ensuring compliance with HR regulations and payroll-related laws and regulations, including taxes, deductions, and reporting. The specialist will also be responsible for implementing HR strategies, conducting training sessions, and supporting recruitment efforts.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Human Resources (HR), HR Management, and developing HR Policies
  • Knowledge of Employee Benefits administration, Payroll Management and Personnel Management
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in HR software and payroll systems
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Experience in the electrical, industrial, or mining sectors is a plus
  • Experience with a unionized company is a plus
