About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy Home Childcare Provider to join our team at Min Kim. As a key member of our childcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children in a home-based setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for the children.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and organized home.
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, while also teaching them important life skills and values.
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, helping them to become confident and independent individuals.
  • Keep accurate records of daily activities and health information regarding the children, ensuring that parents are informed and up-to-date.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, promoting healthy eating habits and a balanced diet.
  • Supervise and care for children, providing a nurturing and supportive environment that meets their individual needs.
  • Take children to and from school and to appointments, ensuring that they arrive on time and are safely transported.
Requirements
  • Reliability and trustworthiness are essential for this role, as you will be responsible for the care and well-being of children in a home-based setting.
  • Honesty and integrity are also crucial, as you will be working with vulnerable individuals and their families.
  • Experience in childcare is an asset, but not essential, as we provide comprehensive training and support to all our staff members.
  • Permanent employment is available, with a typical working week of 30-40 hours.
  • English is the primary language spoken in this role, but we welcome applications from individuals who are fluent in other languages.
