Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy Home Childcare Provider to join our team at Min Kim. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality childcare services to our clients in a safe and healthy environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, ensuring the well-being and safety of the children.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and organized home.
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, promoting their physical and emotional development.
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, fostering a positive and respectful environment.
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, helping them become confident and capable individuals.
  • Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding the children, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, promoting healthy eating habits and a balanced diet.
  • Supervise and care for children, providing individualized attention and support as needed.
  • Take children to and from school and to appointments, ensuring timely and safe transportation.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Reliability, honesty, and a strong work ethic are essential qualities for this role.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a non-smoking environment, with a focus on providing high-quality childcare services in a safe and healthy environment.

Language

The primary language of communication is English.

Hours of Work

The successful candidate will work 30 to 40 hours per week, with a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of our clients.
