Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy Home Childcare Provider to join our team at Min Kim. As a key member of our childcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children in a home-based setting.

Responsibilities
  • Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for children.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and organized home.
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by parents, while also teaching them important life skills and values.
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, helping them to become confident and capable individuals.
  • Keep accurate records of daily activities and health information regarding children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, promoting healthy eating habits and a positive relationship with food.
  • Supervise and care for children, providing a nurturing and supportive environment that fosters their growth and development.
  • Transport children to and from school and appointments, ensuring their safe and timely arrival.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in childcare or a related field is an asset.
  • Reliability, honesty, and a strong work ethic are essential qualities for this role.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment

Our home-based childcare setting is a non-smoking environment, providing a healthy and safe space for children to grow and develop.

Work Setting

This is a permanent position, working 30-40 hours per week in a home-based setting.

The primary language spoken in this role is English.
