About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our electrical construction projects at Plan Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering projects on-time and within budget, while ensuring the highest level of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution: Establish and achieve project targets and milestones, monitor progress, and provide status updates to stakeholders.
  • Health and Safety Leadership: Promote and lead health and safety initiatives, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Cost Control and Schedule Management: Monitor and control project costs, schedules, and resources, ensuring alignment with Plan Group's T.I.M.E. efficiency program.
  • Problem-Solving and Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential problems and schedule delays, ensuring project success.
  • Quality Assurance and Commissioning: Lead quality assurance, commissioning, and handover objectives, ensuring high-quality project delivery.
  • Value Engineering and Cost Savings: Develop and lead value engineering, cost savings, and pricing initiatives, driving business growth.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead and manage project teams, providing coaching, training, and feedback to ensure team success.
  • Client and Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with clients, general contractors, and engineers, ensuring project success and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: Electrical Engineering post-secondary education or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of electrical construction project management experience, with trade experience a definite asset.
  • Skills: Proven track record of delivering large-scale electrical commercial and institutional projects, with experience managing project teams and stakeholders.
