Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to calculate cheques for payroll, fixed assets and depreciation, and maintain financial records using bookkeeping systems. This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented and have a strong understanding of financial principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Processing: Calculate cheques for payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Asset Management: Calculate fixed assets and depreciation, maintaining up-to-date records.
- Financial Record-Keeping: Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain general ledgers and financial statements, as well as other statistical and financial reports.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance financial operations.
